A little about Select Coffee Service...
Select Coffee Service was started in 1992 and is an Alberta corporation which is owned by Bryan
and Linda Goodfellow who are actively involved in the day to day operations. Our Service area is in the city of Calgary,
north along the number 2 highway including the city of Airdrie and the towns of Crossfield, Carstairs, Didsbury,
Olds, Bowden and Innisfail. Our client base (both rural and urban)
has steadily grown over the years, due to our commitment to customer satisfaction. Some clients have been with us since 1992.
The Equipment
We have coffee brewing systems from the traditional two burner pour-over brewers to plumbed in single cup servers and thermal brewing systems. Since each account has different requirements and budgets we custom design our equipment configuration to each client's needs and desires. With each delivery our personnel wipe down and examine each brewer to ensure it is working properly. Because of hard water problems the spray heads are regularly examined for scale blockage and either replaced or cleaned. The coffee brewers are also exchanged and cleaned once a year or on an as required basis depending on usage.
Stocking/Inventory
Select Coffee works with clients to develop a stocking system to suit their needs. We recommend that after setting par levels for each kitchen and servery that our service representative replenishes each kitchen to its original levels on a regular scheduled visit. We prefer to put the stock away on the shelves to ensure that the product is properly rotated; some items such as juice and coffee may lose their freshness if not used within a certain period of time. When we stock the shelves we always place the new products into proper rotation.
Frequency
With the above mentioned stocking procedure we can conveniently maintain your account with regular visits every two weeks. For larger accounts we can service on a weekly basis. Some accounts prefer phone in ordering, fax ordering or email. We handle them all.
